YUPPIES Yuppies is a story of five unlikely roommates living in an inherited mansion in Miami. After Nate and Veronica Moll's parents die in a cruise ship accident, they are forced to bring on roommates in order to save their house and lifestyle. Courtney McFadden daughter of a Texas oil tycoon recently moved to Miami to study environmental law, in unique twist of fate meets Nate and decides to move into the mansion thus saving the gangs way of life. The roommates come from a variety of backgrounds, a flamboyant interior designer, a third string quarterback with delusions of grandeur, an environmental law student who's rants are stronger than her convictions, a struggling model and an aimless slacker. All with a common belief not that they've earned but that they deserve their piece of the American dream. Despite their poor work ethic and unfettered snobbishness they all believe they have a right to more than the hand life has dealt them. Fake aspirations aside, they all coexist to reach a common goal, the all just want to be Yuppies.
